The 39.8 mm case is crafted from stainless steel coated in black ADLC (Amorphous Diamond-Like Carbon), giving it a matte finish that is both durable and contemporary. The ADLC coating enhances scratch resistance while lending the watch its bold, stealth-inspired aesthetic. The classic Santos profile defined by its square bezel with exposed screws is preserved, maintaining a perfect blend of tradition and modern design.

The skeletonised dial showcases the in-house manual-winding calibre 9612 MC, visible through the sapphire crystal. The movements bridges form the Roman numerals XII, III, VI, and IX a signature Cartier innovation. The luminous coating on these bridges allows the movement architecture to glow in the dark, giving the watch its Noctambule (night owl) name.

This calibre offers a 72-hour power reserve, demonstrating both artistry and technical precision. Each component is meticulously finished, visible from both the front and the sapphire caseback.

This example is supplied with two Cartier leather straps, including the original black strap and an additional interchangeable leather band. Both secure with a black ADLC-coated steel deployant clasp.
