Weve always been fans of the mid-sized Royal Oaks in the 3536mm rangethey’re true wrist-huggers!

In hand, we have a 36 mm reference 14790STthe “ST” signifying its made of steel. This particular example features the so-called Mark 2 dial, where the first letters of Audemars Piguet are capitalized, while still retaining the classic Royal Oak long hour markers.

The dial has developed a stunning patina: the raised areas of the petite tapisserie have taken on a golden hue, while the recessed sections show a beautiful blend of blue and purplish tonesan absolutely gorgeous effect. The case is in excellent overall condition, with no major defects on the bezel. We believe the setting crown was replaced during a service, for which there is an official invoice dated 2023 from an authorized Audemars Piguet service center.

The bracelet is also in great condition and fits wrists up to 18 cm.This fine Oak has been fully checked by our watchmaker ( and as stated above ; fully serviced by a AP service center in 2023)!

The watch comes with its original green octagonal Royal Oak box and is accompanied by its Extract from the Archives, stating a registration date of May 1999.
