A 1940s gilty watch

This is a great looking 1940s steel chrono featuring a lovely glossy black dial with gilt printing. The dial features outline Arabic numerals. Two chronograph sub dials and a base-1000 tachymeter scale on the outer edge. The hour and minute hands have luminous filling. The 35mm steel case remains in really great condition and features square pushers and a snap case back.
The watch is fitted with the pictured strap which is attached to the fixed lug bars.
The watch is accompanied by a its original box, which is an incredibly rare find with such a watch. The calibre 215 manual wind movement has been fully checked by our watchmaker
